20|20 Marine Energy was established by Adrian Tolson, the company’s senior partner, and one of the industry’s leading marine energy experts.

Adrian Tolson - Senior Partner

With 30 years of experience he has a detailed knowledge and insight on the supply and demand side of fuel purchasing, as well as bunkering infrastructure development. His experience spans leadership roles with some of the industry’s largest marine fuel suppliers, including Chemoil Energy, where he was responsible for successfully driving the company through to IPO, and, as Vice President and General Manager he established OW Bunker’s physical supply operation in the US.

Per Funch-Nielsen - Senior Associate

Per Funch-Nielsen has more than 25 years experience of the maritime and bunkering sectors, working in leadership positions and managing a diverse range of international teams within a number of key global companies.  Prior to joining 20|20 Marine Energy he worked for Unioil Supply, the physical bunkering arm of Bunker Holding Group.  He also spent over 10 years at OW Bunker, where he was General Manager for the company’s physical supply division.  Mr. Funch-Nielsen has a vast range of experience in all aspects of the marine energy supply chain, including, most recently, working on the development of supply solutions for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in Denmark.
